SEASON LENGTH
  • 16 guaranteed regular season games + 2 playoff games (minimum)

  • Mattamy Athletic Centre

GAME DAYS
  • Thursdays & Fridays
  • Saturdays (Mostly) & Sundays
DIVISIONS
  • Thurs/Fri A'
  • Thurs/Fri B'
  • Thurs/Fri Low B'
  • Thurs/Fri High C'
  • Weekend A'
  • Weekend B'
  • Weekend High C'
  • Weekend C'
TEAM STRUCTURE
  • Individual teams will consist of 14 players + a goaltender
GAME FORMAT
  • 3 x 15 minute periods (run time)
  • 2 minute warm up
  • Stop time in the last 2 minutes of the game if the score is within 3 or fewer goals
EQUIPMENT
  • All players must wear either a half visor or a full cage with their helmet
JERSEYS
  • Jerseys will be provided to individual players on individual teams by the league
  • If an individual player is added to an existing team in need of extra players, your new team rep will be responsible for providing you with your team jersey
PLAYOFFS
  • All teams will play a minimum of 2 playoff games
FORFEITS/DEFAULTS
  • Forfeits and defaults are not accepted in the DMHL
  • If your team cannot field a team, then 24 hours notice MUST be given to the league to find a replacement team for your opponent
  • Forfeit without notice may result in expulsion from the league
OFFICIATING
  • 2 experienced referees will be present at all DMHL games
COVID-19 PROTOCOL
  • All players must abide by facility COVID-19 protocols
PRICING
  • $525 (Taxes included)
HOW TO PAY
  • A $250 E-transfer deposit will be required to hold your spot

2021 COVID-19 GUARANTEE

Please note, the situation with COVID is fluid and constantly evolving. 

The DMHL will provide a 100% refund to all players and teams that do not start due to COVID-19.

If the season is suspended at any point while in operation, the appropriate refunds will be processed based on games played.

The DMHL will implement game or operational policies consistent with Public Health requirements in Ontario
