| GAME FORMAT |
- 3 x 15 minute periods (run time)
- 2 minute warm up
- Stop time in the last 2 minutes of the game if the score is fewer than 3 goals

| EQUIPMENT |
- All players must wear either a half visor or a full cage with their helmet
|
| JERSEYS |
- Teams that register before February 28 will receive a free custom set of jerseys by the league
- All teams must have a full set of matching jerseys. Mismatched jerseys will not be allowed

| PLAYOFFS |
- All teams will play a minimum of 2 playoff games
- A single game elimination 16 team bracket will decide the season winners.
- Teams eliminated in the first round will play a consolation game to determine final placing
|
| FORFEITS/DEFAULTS |
- Forfeits and defaults are not accepted in the DMHL
- If your team cannot field a team, then 24 hours notice MUST be given to the league to find a replacement team for your opponent
- Forfeit without notice may result in expulsion from the league

| OFFICIATING |
- 2 experienced referees will be present at all DMHL games
