***ATTENTION ***
To all players, please make sure that you do not enter the ice surface until the zamboni doors are closed, or until you are waved on by the rink staff. Failing to do this will result in a warning and a 2 min penalty to start the game.
Also, once the game is finished and you have said your good byes to the other squad, leave the ice. Please do not hang around and do stretching or whatever. It's dangerous while the zamboni is out there doing it's thing.

Please note the following info...The DMHL winter weeknight leagues are full to capacity. There is no room left for teams. Womens hockey is strictly on Sun afternoons. Individual men and women players are encouraged to register on our website as all team reps will get the notice of new players and the list is available to them to pick as many as they need.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of yet another one of our ref's. Edward (Eddy) Moffatt. He passed away, suddenly, while at home at the age of 50. You might remember him as the speedy ref who had a great sense of humor. He also had a great passion for the game and put his whole heart and soul into every game. He will be missed. Rick B.

************* SUMMER LEAGUES ****************** The summer league that is run by the DMHL, operates Mon to Thurs. and starts May 16th,2011. We have maxed out with teams by the end of Jan. Most teams are full but I will try to place individual players on existing teams. No garantees there. Note that the increase in price this year is due to the implementation of Ontario's Harmonized Sales Tax. The DMHL has no control of these increases. All leagues, in and around the city, are being hit hard and unfortunately, it passes along to the player. Thanks for your understanding.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of one of our ref's. Ross Vennare. He died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 27. His passion for the game and his commitment was a joy to watch. He hated to see anyone treated unfairly, and he always tried to remedy the situation. He will be missed. Rick B.

It is with great sorry that announce the passing of Rick Macdonald.
Most of you knew him as a DMHL and Exclaim referee. The easy going, calm ref with the long moustach. Some knew him personally. He was a personal friend to me and I felt it nescessary to inform you all of this news.
